1

Public sources

Ofsted's register of childcare providers, published twice a year, and Companies House company data.

2

Compare and match

We compare the two latest Ofsted files, find new, departed and resized settings, and match company owners to Companies House.

3

A CSV for your team

One CSV of every change, ready to import, each time Ofsted publishes a new file.

Who it is for, and why it pays

Firms that sell into nurseries

Nursery software, insurers and brokers, food and resource suppliers, recruiters and trainers: by our estimate roughly 300 to 800 UK firms. Ofsted's 30 Jun 2026 file lists 27,990 active settings on non-domestic premises.

One win pays for a year

A new nursery picks its software, insurer and suppliers in its first months. One nursery software customer is worth about £950 to £2,400 a year at published list prices, so one extra win covers the subscription many times over.

Price

Change file

£49–99 /month

The CSV of new, departed and resized settings with the owner company. Early access: first month free, then pay or walk.

Change file plus groups Planned

£150–250 /month

Adds owner-group linkage and CRM or API push once they are built. Early-access teams help decide what comes first.

Today the source is updated twice a year, so the file is updated twice a year. Registered owner renames are the same legal entity under a new name, not sales, so we do not headline them.
